MTBlades - Thuillier Benjamin knives

Benjamin Thuillier - MTBlade is a cutler established in the Hautes Alpes department

At the Thuilliers, knives are a family affair! Indeed at the end of the 19th century, Benjamin's great-great-grandfather took over a knife company with a manufacturing workshop in Nogent-en-Bassigny as well as a boutique in Paris.

A few years later, around 1917, he passed it on to his son who managed it until the 1950s, designing his blades, working with wood, ivory, tortoise shell, mother-of-pearl for the handles, and honoring orders from the most prestigious French cutlery brands of the time.

The current MTBlades logo was designed by Benjamin's great-grandfather, Marius Thuillier, and stamped on the knives coming out of the workshop now owned by the family. It represents the initials of his first and last name.
